Privacy Policy

Hoosh (هوش) · Effective 26 August 2026

Hoosh is built for one of the most private things a family has: helping someone who doesn't speak the local language handle their own life. This policy says plainly what the app does with data. It is written to match what the software actually does, not to cover possibilities.

The most important fact

Hoosh has no central server operated by us. The app connects to a server that your own family runs — on a home computer or on your family's own cloud account. Your contacts, health record, transcripts and settings live there, under your family's control, not ours. We cannot read, sell, or lose what we never hold.

What the app stores (on your family's server)

Everything durable is encrypted at rest. One-time security codes relayed on a call are never stored anywhere — not in the profile, not in transcripts, not in logs.

What leaves the server, and to whom

To do its work, your family's server calls these services. Each receives only what its job requires, at the moment of use:

There are no ads, no analytics SDKs, no trackers, and no data is ever sold. Nothing is used to train models by us.

What stays on the phone

Phone calls made by the assistant

Every call the assistant places begins by disclosing that it is an AI assistant calling on someone's behalf. It can never dial emergency services, premium-rate numbers, or countries your family has not explicitly opened. It never shares payment details, government ID numbers, or passwords — it does not have them.

Deletion

The app's owner can erase everything with one action — Settings → erase — which deletes the profile, contacts, health record, transcripts, alerts and settings from the server and from its durable storage. There is no soft delete and no retained copy.

Family access

Family members sign in with Apple and see nothing until the owner approves them. The owner decides, per person, whether they may see call summaries, full transcripts, or recordings.

Children

Hoosh is not directed at children under 13.
